What is your earliest memory of race and/or when did you first become aware of race? 

Write 3 pages  STORY that describes the scenario and include as much detail as you can recall. For example: What happened? Who was there? Where were you? When did the event occur? Why did such an event occur? 

Please note that essay 1 will be analyzed for a future assignment, so it is important that you are as descriptive as possible and the writing quality of the assignment is strong.

Your paper must be well thought out with a thesis statement, organized structure, transitions, an introduction, body, and conclusion.  Do not turn in a first draft.
