Part One:

Using any artworks from the textbook as examples, explain the difference between representational, abstract , and nonrepresentational art. 

Part Two:

After you explain the differences between representational, abstract, and nonrepresentational art, explain how art has been a strong force in human history.  Discuss examples of art presented in any chapter from your textbook, from ancient to contemporary, to present a historical survey of the different functions and purposes of art.
