SOSC 2480 Final Paper Outline

Length 3,000 words (minimum) to 4,000 words (maximum) including the reference page.

Line spacing: Double-spaced

Topic: Cannot be on the same topic as the critical reflection paper or the tutorial presentation.

For this assignment you are required to write an essay between 3000-4,000 words including bibliographic information on a topic related to any of the central themes of the course.

 You are strongly encouraged to adapt your paper to a country specific case study or other relevant example or themes within the course.

TOPIC: Boko Haram In Nigeria or Hutu and Tusi in Nigeria 

This paper is worth 20% of your overall grade and is due in class on March 28^th, 2016.

Please note: Late penalties will apply for all papers that are handed in late.

The essay must have the following main features: 

• An abstract not exceeding 250 words

• A title that reflects the argument or question being explored with the essays word count

•NO table of contents

 •A list of references/ reference page or works cited, a minimum of 10 scholarly journals and/or books 

In addition to submitting hardcopies of your assignment to your teaching assistants, you are also required to submit electronic copies of your assignments via email to your TA’s email address.
