Evaluation Essay Project (no sources) [6-7 pages (1500-1750 words)]

Specific Course Rules 1. First Public Drafts and Final Drafts of the three major essay projects must be typed and turned in through the correct links on the Blackboard web site. Paper copies or emailed papers will not be accepted for credit. 2. Two of the major essay projects may be rewritten within one week of receiving the graded final draft from the instructor. The instructor will grade the revised copy and give the higher of the two grades. No one will suffer a grade penalty for rewriting. 3. Assignments must be turned in on time. The penalty for late essays is 10% of the original grade per class meeting. This can be circumvented only by making arrangements in advance with the instructor, except in cases of documentable illness. 4. Laptops or tablets may be used in class (for class purposes) as long as they are not distracting to the student or to others around the student. 5. Phones must be put in silent mode while you are in class. If you need to answer or receive a call, please step quietly out of the classroom to do so, then return when you’re done. 6. Students are responsible for reviewing the contents of the “My Grades” page to keep informed about the status of their course grades, and for informing the instructor of any potential errors so that corrections can be made.
