This essay contest seeks to honor women who have made a difference

in the life of a young person. By focusing on the celebration of a

woman’s story, we bring light to our community.

A local non-profit organization, The Change Machine, seeks to be the

change that they want to see in the world. By hosting this annual essay

contest, we hope to inspire area high school teens to consider the

meaningful impact that women have on our lives every day.
