My argument is that the film Coming Home, the chapter from Soul on Iceby Eldridge Cleaver, and the creation of the Black Panther Party all work from similar assumptions that dominant social systems in the US should be changed/escaped from/disavowed. Show us by referring directly to each of the three ‘texts,’ how each one demonstrates this fundamental rejection of “business as usual” at the time. You may, of course, disagree with my argument, but in that case you must also show us from the sources.
