Environmental Scan

Each member of the Learning Team will assume the role of an executive team member (i.e. CFO, CEO, COO, etc.) at  your target enterprise. 

The team constructs a paper of at least 1,050 up to 1,400 words in which you include the following:

• Determine how to create value and sustain competitive advantage using the environmental scanning strategy.
• Evaluate the company's remote environment.
• Assess the company's industry environment.
• Evaluate the organization's external operating environment.

Also,

Create a 10 to 15-slide Microsoft® PowerPoint® presentation to accompany the paper. The presentation should be a presentation of the findings of the environmental scanning.

In this class you must meet or exceed (no points deducted for reasonable overage) the minimum deliverables length threshold (1,050 words and a combined 10 to 15-slide presentation) in order to ensure sufficient coverage of the learning objectives. If you do not meet it, points will be deducted.

Format your paper consistent with APA guidelines.Be sure to include title page, and reference citations must be presented on unique page (not bleeding from regular text). Be sure citations list is complete, i.e. course text (Hitt, Ireland, and Hoskisson) Team Target Enterprise (TTE), and any additional research conducted. Times New Roman 12' font is preferred Do not use bullet points.
