Why do you think communities of color, indigenous communities, and others haven't been more involved in the major environmental movements? Is that changing and, if so, what are some examples of such groups and individuals coming forward and becoming new leaders in the environmental movement?
Do you think environmental racism is still an issue in the US? Research and report on an example in the US where accusations of environmental racism, or calls for environmental justice, have been made, covering the situation, the arguments being made, whether or not you feel the accusations are/were justified, and what if anything is being done to resolve the conflict.
