Or Go to the EPA NPL list, http://www.epa.gov/superfund/sites/npl/ and choose your state. Choose a site The site you choose needs to be approved by your instructor. Post your proposed site in the third Discussion topic or send your instructor an e-mail detailing your proposed site. Once approved, write a 7–10 page paper (not including title page and references) that gives the background of your hazardous waste site, what agencies were involved, what pollutants have been found there, the extent of contamination, the number of people harmed and with what diseases, what studies were done on the site and people, and what the clean-up consisted of. References: The document should also include the references that you used (at least 3 other than your book).
