For this journal consider a holiday, ritual, or tradition that you participate in. Pick two symbols, and briefly discuss how these symbols are important to your holiday, ritual, or tradition. Remember that your focus should be on the two symbols you have chosen. Research the symbols, and find out as much as you can about their meaning. After you have done this, consider if the symbols you have chosen serve the same purpose and importance in your tradition (did you find something new, did you find out you follow the tradition completely, Etc.). 

For the holiday, talk about Eid al Adha.
