Leila@Read the 2-page summary of the play and then the monologue by Oedipus in which he addresses his people after having gouged out his eyes. It is a very strong, emotional speech, and I want your reactions to it. Do you feel the emotion? Do you understand his pain, physical and mental? Do you find it all just too confusing?
