No matter how strange the premise of a story might be, the author must suspend your disbelief to get you to buy into the piece. That means you care about the characters and what will happen. Bradbury is outstanding at creating stories in outlandish settings with alien characters and getting his readers to believe. How does he do that in “Far From a City on Earth”?
