Many times just the very terminology of "research" is intimidating to students; however, it really should not be, because many of us do research without even knowing it. For example, in observation research, observing people, places and things can come second nature to most of us. In the world of academe, however, it is the recording of these observations that is most important, and recording them through the use of the written word is what is most demanding and most challenging, to say the least. This Learning Activity is simply asking if you have ever been in a situation where you did, indeed, have to use any of these research methodologies and then record the results by using the written word. Share your thoughts via the written word. I'm sure we would all like to hear your unique experiences.
