Both Sherman Alexie's "What You Pawn, I Will Redeem" and ZZ Packer's "Drinking Coffee Elsewhere" feature narrators who belong to different minority groups. They are marginalized (put in positions of lesser social, cultural, and political power) in various ways. For this response, discuss how Alexie's Native American narrator and Packer's narrator, Dina, are marginalized, and how you see them attempting to fight back against this.
