nikki242000Write a two to three page paper about your choice of assigned stories so far, so you can use any assigned story up until the day the essay is due.
In your essay, comment on your response to, or analysis of, the story.
Please do not summarize the plot. I already know the plot. I am interested in your ideas about the story: characters, conflict, point of view, etc. I am looking for critical thinking.
When you use examples from the story, you must use MLA in-text citation. This is very important!
You need a Works Cited page for this paper. Page 22 in the Bedford textbook has an example of a Works Cited page. Use the information from your story and plug it into the example. Read the essay and note how the student used MLA in-text citation when discussing parts of the story.
Stories to choose from: "Miss Brill", "To Build a Fire" ,"A&P" and "Love in L.A."
