Communicating about risk

You have been asked to speak to a diverse audience in your community (or organization) about a particular hazard (can be natural, accidental, or intentional) that is possible in the area. Your remarks will be on a blue-sky day (not when the hazard is occurring or imminent). Pick the hazard and prepare remarks explaining the hazard and risk associated with the hazard along with appropriate protective and preparedness measures appropriate to your audience. Consider the guidance in this week's readings in preparing your remarks.
