Economic Activity #1: Read 2 newpaper articles. Post to Discussion  Board Week 1 on D2L:

Economics is all around us. Find a newspaper for example, the Wall Street Journal, Financial Times or New York Times and turn to the business section.

1.  Find an article on the  macro economy (inflation, employment, economic growth). Write a 250 word summary of the main points of the article and post in the Discussion section for week 1. 
2. Next, find an article on the micro economy (consumers, family finance, business, firms, corporations, industries).  Write a 250 word summary of the main points of the article and post in the Discussion section for week 1. 
3. After you have summarized both,  choose  one of the articles and answer the following questions.  What do you think the article suggests about the state of our economy? Do you agree or disagree? State your reasons why. (150 words)
