Keystone Pipline

Use the Internet and/or the CSU-Global Library to research and analyze the Keystone XL pipeline project that would carry Canadian crude oil to Gulf Coast refineries. Do you believe adequate health and safety measures are or would be in place in the event of an oil spill along the pipeline? What contingencies are in place to avoid a spill? Do you believe that proponents have thoroughly identified the risks involved? 

In the event of an oil spill, what agencies and/or companies are responsible for clean-up and recovery of impacted land? Does this project potentially endanger the drinking water of communities along the pipeline?

Your essay should be 2-3 pages in length, well written, and formatted according to CSU Global guidelines for APA style. Reference at least one credible source in addition to your textbook. The CSU-Global Library is a good place to search for credible scholarly sources.
