While Mrs. Ford usually allows you to choose the lesson plan format you would like to use, this week she has asked you to use a specific one. Using the sample lesson plans and templates shared in Chapter 4 as a guideline and the group you are assigned to below you will create a curriculum plan.

| Last Name A-L | Single Subject Curriculum with Nested Skills | Using the sample lesson from the text on The Three Billy Goats Gruff as a guide, create a lesson based on the story The Little Red Hen that focuses on nesting social skills using Template 4.2 from the text. Several versions of this classic story are easily available online if you don’t have access to a book. Make sure to explicitly state in your lesson plan how you will meet the needs of Johnny, Maya, Jane, Caleb, Kayla and Jack. |
| Last Name M-Z | Webbed Curriculum | Using the sample webbed curriculum from the text on time as a guide, create an example of a lesson that could be taught within this unit using Template 4.5 from the text as a guide. Make sure to explicitly state in your lesson plan how you will meet the needs of Johnny, Maya, Jane, Caleb, Kayla and Jack. |
Guided Response: Review your classmates’ posts and respond to at least two of them. One of the classmates you respond to should be in the same group you are and one of them should be from the opposite group. Use the Lesson Plan Rubric to evaluate their lesson plan. Copy and paste the rubric into your response and highlight their level of proficiency for each section. In addition, provide written feedback for each section on the rubric that justifies the score you gave them. For any areas of the rubric that were not marked as proficient, state how the lesson could be modified to meet proficiency. In addition share how you could see their lesson plan fitting into a thematic unit.
