"Presentations are composed of three distinct elements:  the introduction, the body, and the close, and each plays a specific role in your communication effort" (Thill & Bovee, 2011, p. 446).  

Imagine that you have to deliver an oral presentation to executives in your company outlining how one of your ideas can increase productivity.  Discuss what you would include in the Introduction to get your audience’s attention immediately.    Do not discuss the entire presentation, only the Introduction
