Earth Science!! easy!!

During the semester each student is to keep a watch on what is reported in the printed media (newspapers, 

magazines, journals, etc.) and pick an article that relates to the subject matter of the class. For the article, 

write a summary of what the report was about and then give your feelings as to the merits, based on what you 

are learning (or have learned) in the course, of the article. 

1). Summary of article.

2). Your well thought-out and reasoned reactions to the article that are supported by what you 

are learning, or have learned, in the course.

3). Either the actual article or a photocopy of it (you are responsible for not violating any 

 copyright issues).

- For this assignment only this will suffice as a citation to the paper you are reviewing.

4). The write-up must be typed, doubled spaced with Times New Roman font (size 12), and 

 stapled or placed into a binder. 

- Under no circumstances will a handwritten write-up be accepted nor will work that is 

 unstapled/unbound or “dog-eared”
