Stereotyping, Prejudice, and Discrimination

The terms stereotyping, prejudice, and discrimination are often used interchangeably, yet they have different definitions.

• Explain your understanding of each of the terms and support your explanation with scholarly resources. Do not simply post the dictionary definition of each term.
• Discuss in what ways can stereotyping be benign and in what ways it can be harmful. Provide examples to illustrate your points.
