What is a business's obligation to build an ethical culture and balance its desire for profit with ethical responsibilities to employees, customers, society, and the environment? 80 words

 

Say a company finds that it can be most profitable in a country where there are challenges to our American values and religious beliefs.  Research shows that this country is the best market for the company's growth and expansion.  Do you attempt to find common ground?  Do you abandon the idea of expansion just because the country does not share your values? 80 words

 

 

What business leaders don't have is a set of ethical codes on which all practitioners agree.  Social responsibility is not high up in the minds of corporate leaders when they make business decisions.  Furthermore, ethics is something that has been seen as something that belongs in the social sciences.  People believe that you can be a perfectly functional business manager without any formal ethics training.Do you agree or disagree?  80 words
