April 19, 2016
12:30 PM-- Room 430, NCC3
In celebration of the New York primary on Tuesday, we’ll be watching the very first episode of THE APPRENTICE from January 8, 2004, before the advent of YouTube or Twitter. Among the surprises in store: the team that wins the first challenge is rewarded by an invitation to Trump’s apartment! Wrapped in gold, the place makes Vegas and Versailles look like understated minimalism, but all the contestants do their best to pretend they think it’s beautiful. If that weren’t enough, Melania shows up to greet them! You’ll meet Omarosa, one of the early instant reality TV stars, and the season’s runner-up, Kwame Jackson, who just dissed Trump in a press conference on Friday. Can Trump’s reality show reveal meaningful insights into the Trump campaign? You decide on Tuesday
