There has been some controversy about the goals of therapy for victims of traumatic events. Some therapists see forgiveness as a way for victims to forget what has happened to them; some see revenge as unhealthy for the victims.

Tasks:

Using the Argosy University online library resources and the Internet, research the topics of "Forgiveness" and "Revenge" in the context of therapeutic approaches for victims of violent crimes.
