The first thing I think of when describing a good training room is a place where noise doesn't echo. For instance an old warehouse with high ceilings is not ideal building to conduct focused training seminars. Eliminating distractions like trying to train in an environment that is close to ongoing construction would also be a hindrance. Really, the facility does play a role in acclimating everyone to an engaging learning atmosphere. A good training room is closed off from other rooms, doesn't contain any telephones, and space is suitable enough to allow for large training groups. That may include computers, television, dry erase board, and presentation screen.
