In this assignment you will be finding current examples of the US government meeting its intended purpose as identified in the Preamble to the Constitution.

In the Preamble, the founders identified the intended purposes and functions of the US Constitutional government: 
•to form a more perfect union;
•to establish justice;
•to insure domestic tranquility;
•to provide for the common defense;
•to promote the general welfare;
•secure the blessings of liberty;

1.Using the Ivy Tech Online Library, find a recent article that shows evidence of the federal government meeting one of the purposes or functions outlined in the Preamble.
2.Write a paragraph that answers all of the following questions:
