1;  Interesting points. Are you thinking that if your OS breaks that it can fix itself automatically by downloading the missing code? The code transplant process is automated according to the article so for an OS to work like that the donor code would need to come from the cloud or another local PC. I see this working well in a corporate environment when you have a gold image OS and PC's can pull from this donor OS. Any thoughts?

2:I like to look at control structures in a normal process of ordering food. Food selection is a prime example of sequential selection and repetition. If you want to use them for food then you can attack this in many ways. If-then-else is sequential selection and you can start with food choice or item number like item 1, 2, 3 etc and then go to a food choice like pizza. This would be suited more for a cafeteria versus picking one restaurant versus another one. Loops can be incorporated after picking a restaurant to repeatedly loop through items until done Any comments?

3:When you think about any control structure you want to focus on the process and conditions based on desired inputs and outputs. If my overall process is to sort mail then my conditions may first look at zip codes and if a zip code exist on the mail then proceed else kick it out of the system as an error. Or I can loop that error condition until there was no more mail. Then I can sort the zip codes less than or greater than to separate mail carriers. When you deal with a big problem like sorting mail then you want to carve out the data you want to use in order to run efficiently. Why do you think getting just the data you need is important?
