1:   The Oxford English Dictionary defines diversity as "the condition or quality of being diverse, different, or varied; difference, unlikeness." Do you agree or disagree with that definition? Why?

2:

If you were to introduce yourself by the ethnic, racial, or other identities to which you feel you belong, what would you say?

3:Although, depending on which part of the globe you live on, the typical American may have a different meaning. By typical, I am implying mainstream, and shows behavior of an ordinary American. This man is defined as religious, and does not represent the qualities of many famous people. The "typical" American I have chosen is Phil Robertson from Duck Dynasty. Phil Robertson is an American professional hunter, businessman, and now a reality television star. He is known for being himself on television, standing up for his beliefs and acting of what consists of a normal person. Critically speaking, I do believe that these traits are characterized as a stereotype. The typical American is an oversimplified image or idea of a practical type of person

4:

Diversity is important because it provides our society and culture with unique and inspirational perspectives. Diversity can create new ideas and changes that can be beneficial to a society, or even the world. With the diversity comes different opinions which be voice and be beneficial to a society, or even be made through the simple inspiration of the diversity. The diversity is very important because it allows for people to be able work together with different kinds of people.

5:I somewhat agree with that. We are not really different. We just come from different places and have different beliefs. I don't think it should be defined in that way by being different. Diversity should be defined as being the same but from different countries or having different religions.
