  • 1:   Drawing upon your knowledge of software development, which process--requirements, design, coding, or testing--do you think has the greatest effect on the overall success and quality of development? Explain your answer.

2: According the to article you posted it says that coding, or programing, is a way of writing instructions for computers that bridges the gaps between how humans express themselves and how they like to express themselves and how computers actually work. Programs are written in "high level" language like C++, Python or Java, they are translated with a special software into low level instructions so that a computer will actually run. It's much easier to use "high level" programing languages because it's easier to express complex and abstract ideas of commands more accurately. Programming languages exist in families and styles a lot like human languages. I especially like the part in the read about the creator of netscap and how he said in the future there will be 2 types of jobs those that tell computers what to do and those that do what computers tell them to do. It's interesting already there has been a huge growth in electronics, we are at a time where we are right in the middle of the growth as well.

3: Good points Sarah and class that's why you always create sites for mobile first using current standards like HTML5 so that they work across platforms. Do you always need an app for mobile devices? Where is the happy medium?
