Discussion--Role of Manager and Organization Theory

Describe a great manager. Do you have an example of one that you have worked for in the past or at the present? What attributes made him or her so effective and what impact did they have on the organization? (And if you do not have an example of a great one, then do you have an example of an ineffective manager and the consequences of the ineffectiveness?) Start each initial post in a separate thread. Each initial discussion question post should be a minimum of 150 words and must include citations to the course materials or outside research. There should also be a reference list at the end of your initial post.
