In this module, we take a general approach to exploring management. We study internal and external influences that impact managers and their roles and responsibilities. Additionally, we explore why the study of management is important to you—right now and right where you are. This assignment guides your thinking as you explore the impact that developing excellent management skills can have on your career.

In today’s competitive global environment it is important for organizations to become true learning organizations.  Using the Argosy University online library, the Internet and other sources, locate at least one global company you would consider a learning organization. Explain what makes this organization a learning organization and describe some of the important ingredients that help them achieve this status. Explain what criteria you used to determine this organization was a learning organization.  Use examples to support your response.
