iscuss the importance of a rubric in relationship to both instructor assessment as well as the process of promoting understanding for our learners.  Provide an example from your own experiences (as either teacher or learner) of an assignment that either lacked or utilized a clear, accurate rubric.  Explain how this scenario impacted the learning opportunities.
