When looking at women's literature of the 20th century, one can easily see some of the struggles that women were still fighting to overcome as they shared their creativity with the masses. Some of those struggles included making their voices known in a seemingly male dominated world.

Virginia Woolf's "A Room of One's Own" tackles some of the topics that may have been considered taboo during a time when women were just gaining their footing in society. Do you think that Woolf's essay still rings true in some ways, or has society come full circle when it comes to so-called gender roles?
