Discussion board question Unit IV

   In part,  chapter 8 discusses the relationship between democracy and freedom. However, one feature that the chapter does not discuss in depth is the role of the media in a democracy.   How important do you think the free media (as opposed to government controlled media) is it to a democracy?   Explain and use examples to illustrate your explanation.
