Discussion Board Assignment

Choose one of the following topics below:

1.Discuss a learning disability of childhood. What is the prevalence?  What are the symptoms? What is the treatment?

2.Discuss one of the "extremes of intelligence" mentioned in the textbook in chapter 9.  How are these children tested?  Do they or can they receive any special  education to help them?

3.Discuss and describe one type of thinking that is mentioned in the textbook. Post an open-ended question for your classmates at the end of the posting.
