• Define and discuss the respondeat superior doctrine.
• Conduct research and provide two real-life examples of when a healthcare organization is found vicariously liable under the legal principles of the respondeat superior doctrine.  
• Discuss the term res ipsa loquitur and provide two examples of res ispa loquitur.
• Discuss two different principles of law that may relive a defendant from liability. Page 227 in your textbook provides examples of several types of these principles.
