For this week's discussion, we are going to write a 200-word paragraph about our intended topic for our narrative essay, for a brainstorming exercise. I would like you to think about and write on the following topics:

·         Besides yourself, who are/will be the main characters in your narrative?

·         What is the major conflict or complication in your narrative? What "happens?"

·         Why did you choose this particular story for your narrative? Why do you think it makes a good narrative?

In addition to your paragraph, please post a 50 to 100-word description of a person, place or element that you intend to describe in your essay. Please put this in italics. Note that this does not count for the 200 words for the first part of the assignment.
