You will select a specific section within a chapter, provide a brief summary, and then compare and contrast it with modern educational philosophy and practice in either a public or private educational setting. For example, you might select Homeric education, provide a brief summary, and then compare and contrast Greco and modern private school moral education philosophy and practice. You might discuss how the various cultures impacted education and education the cultures.
