Dimensions Of Culture 1600

In The Ecology of Diversity, we learned about Trompenaars and Hampden-Turner’s (2012) seven dimensions of culture. Another model for determining cultural dimensions was developed by Hofstede, Hofstede, and Minkov (2010). Visit the Hofstede Centre website’s country culture comparison page. Select three countries of your choice (with one being your country of origin) and compare and contrast their profiles. Discuss how these three countries would approach starting a multinational project.

Utilizing both the Trompenaars and Hampden-Turner (2012) and the Hofstede, Hofstede, and Minkov (2010) models identify the following differences or similarities in:

1.      Power differentials

2.      Relationships with people (individualism versus collectivism universalism versus particularism, etc.)

3.      Feminine and masculine cultural tendencies

4.      Uncertainty avoidance

5.      Attitudes regarding the environment

6.      Attitudes regarding time

7.      Indulgence

Paper should be 1600 words and include at least two scholarly articles in addition to the reading.
