Read the assigned research article for this week. Identify the descriptive statistics that are reported in the article. How can a nurse leader use descriptive statistics to justify a course of action? What descriptive statistics do you routinely use in your practice?

This week, we will be discussing statistical concepts that are applied to various areas of healthcare. Health professionals employ descriptive and inferential statistics to assist them in making decisions.

 
We use statistics in our daily life although we do not always recognize this fact. Read the assigned research article for this week (see reference at end of post). Then using the Course Outcomes as a guide, differentiate between the descriptive statistics and the inferential statistics in the article. The course outcomes for this question are:
