We will keep it short this week.  Offenders aside, how do you explain the fact that a death sentence is significantly more likely when the victim is white than when the victim is black?  Is it discrimination of some kind? Do we value white lives more? Are murders of whites more likely to qualify as 'capital' murders for some reason? Do some independent research to support your explanation.
