Cyber Crime Paper

Write a 3-5 page paper in which you complete the following: 1) Describe the Three Categories of Cybercrime as referenced in last week's readings, Ch. 7, "Cybercrime and Cyber-Related Crimes," of Ethics and Technology: Controversies, Questions, and Strategies for Ethical Computing. 2) Identify a potential threat of a cyber crime for the company you selected in week 2 that falls into one of the cyber crime categories and the corresponding federal law that addresses this issue. Table 7.1 in this chapter also includes a list of federal laws for computer-related crimes. Use the Internet site http://www.cybercrime.gov to research the details of these laws. 3) Describe the process for reporting this crime to law enforcement, quantifying a "loss", procedures to record and collect data on the cyber crime, and notification requirements and procedures that you would put into place.
