Consider a specific business research effort from your personal experience in the workplace or from anarticle you find through the University Library (please do not use articles from other sources, especially not the textbook).   

Sometimes students get confused so again, let me emphasize if you choose to review an article, it should be an article that covers real BUSNESS research which has been completed – not a general article about research in business, or medicine, psychology, etc.   It should also not be an article describing a model or an approach to research.  If you are looking for an article consider using the Week One Topic Search link located in the list of Week One Materials. Please feel free to check with me if you are not certain your article meets the criteria (please attach the actual article – links often do not work).

Write a 300 to 400-word summary that describes an actual business research process from your experience in the workplace or from an article you found through the University Library.

Specifically you should address these four areas:

·  Define the specific business research that was conducted and its purpose.

·  Explain the business problem(s) under investigation.

·  Describe the data collection methods used in the research.

·  Describe what you or the researchers concluded as a result of the research.

Format your paper consistent with APA guidelines including a brief Introduction and Conclusion section.  See the weekly grading rubric in the Course Materials Forum for more detail.

If an Article was selected, submit a copy of the article (e.g., as an Adobe .pdf or WORD document).  along with your paper.
