Go on a tour around your yard/neighborhood. If your neighborhood lacks gardens, then tour around PCC. Do notgo to a second botanical garden or a grocery store. The concept here is that you are learning to identify plants without labels. Please be very careful identifying plants and do not use any herb or take anything internally unless you are 100% certain of the identity and even then you should have another person confirm the identity.

• Locate two different medicinal plants. These should be plants that you have not already researched for another assignment. The plants do not have to be in your text book.
• Give a brief overview (several paragraphs each) on the folklore and medicinal uses of the plants you find.
• Include a selfie and pictures of the plants you found, NOT googled pictures.
• points will be deducted for mis-identification.
• No credit will be given if the pictures do not show properly on Canvas.
• Required: 1000 words, works cited, 30 points
