How does one demonstrate the concept of critical thinking in relation to the various roles of the professional nurse?

Critical thinking is an integral component of professional nursing yet it is difficult for many to define. In this discussion thread (TD) we will look at critical thinking as it relates to various roles of the master’s prepared nurse.

Briefly describe the key components of critical thinking and then analyze how critical thinking can be applied to the various roles of the professional nurse.  You will want to do an advanced literature search through the Chamberlain library to see what the current scholarly literature has to say about critical thinking. Be sure to cite the sources you use to demonstrate support for your position.
