The Miami Herald reported about a sexual offender who continued offending, because the system continues to fail. Chapter 9 discusses this topic and in specific, the use of chemical castration as a sentencing method for convicted sex offenders.  Consider all possible sides of this argument, and then offer your opinion on this issue.  If you are against chemical castration as a sentencing option, please share what you feel would be a better sentencing alternative for dealing with convicted sex offenders.
