Focus: A sense of space 

Writng assignment: write a story set in one of the following locations. Begin decribing the space immediately and supply fresh images and sensroy details throughout your story to bring the space to life.

- airport terminal

- art gallery 

- some sacred space ( i.e. cathedral, temple. etc.)

-hotel/motel

-outdoors (public park; the wilderness. etc)

Allow the setting to influence your charater in some way (i.e. cause a conflict; cause him/her to reminisce; etc) and proivde the fuel that causes your charater to act and move the story towards some sort of conclusion
