snhembreyPresident Barack Obama gave a State of the Union speech on January 25, 2012. Part of his speech addressed how companies who move jobs and profits overseas are currently receiving tax breaks. President Obama stated, "My message is simple. It's time to stop rewarding businesses that ship jobs overseas, and start rewarding companies that create jobs right here in America."
