Draw a decision tree for a defendant’s Plea-Bargain Dilemma. There is a dilemma faced by a defendant who is accused of a crime and whose attorney has arranged a plea bargain. The defendant needs to decide - should the defendant accept a plea bargain or should be demand trial. If he accepts a plea bargain he would spend one year in prison. Rejecting it would lead to a trial which might result in acquittal and thus no time in prison. But a trial could also result in conviction, which a 45% chance of longer sentence of 3 years or the lenient sentence of 1 year.
